Vertical Lift Retractable Crash Barrier Gate
The Lokran barrier gate is a vertical lift energy absorbing crash barrier gate that will safely bring an errant vehicle to a stop. It is designed for use in lift, swing, and single/double bascule bridge applications. The Lokran gate exceeds all Federal Highway System (FHS) specifications established by the NCHRP Report 350 and the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Manual for Assessing Saefty Hardware (MASH). It is the only gate on the market that is designed for mechanical retraction following deployment of the safety net without any need for replacement parts or repair. This makes the Lokran gate ideal for high traffic environments. The State of Maryland DOT selected this product for the Woodrow Wilson Bridge project.
Flood Gates
In repsonse to Hurricane Sandy and the resulting flooding in the New York and New Jersey subways Lokran was contacted to develop a movable flood barrier system. A vertical lift flood barrier gate system has been engineered utilizing design elements from our proven crash barrier gate technology.
